About Us

Amelia Earhart Senior Squadron 188, proudly located in Oakland, California, San Francisco Bay Area, is a local unit of the Civil Air Patrol. We are part of San Francisco Bay Group 2 and California Wing.  We are located Oakland Airport North Field.

We meet every Tuesday from 7:30 - 9:30 PM at 9636 Earhart Rd (Bldg. L-105), but please come at 7pm if you would like to get to know some of our members.  If you are interested in more information please complete our Contact Form or call and leave us a message at 510-21GOSAR.

Squadron 188 consists of senior members 18 years of age and older.  Our members have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of pursuits: flying as an Aircrew, serving as a Ground Team member, Communications, Logistics, and many other specialties.  Our members wear uniforms while performing their duties.
